Product Owner

Hybrid role - 3 days office based in our Redditch offices (B98 9NR)


 

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and talented Product Owner to join our growing Communications (CCaaS) business TelXL. You will be joining our hands-on Product team, working closely with the Product Manager responsible for our VXP product (Voice) within our new omnichannel Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) product (Cxp).  

You will be working on our industry leading Voice (Vxp) platform (CCaaS Voice product) building and enhancing its features and functionality that is fit for purpose in the SME contact centre market (including utilities, public sector, NHS, councils, finance and insurance). This is an exciting opportunity to drive forward thinking solutions that solve real world problems within the contact centre environment, ensuring Customers receive a great experience with every interaction (voice, email, text message, instant messaging).  

You will take ownership of the user stories, backlog management and reporting as well as championing user-centred design and the day-to-day execution of our ambitious and industry-leading product vision, strategy, roadmap and quarterly plans.

We operate in an agile environment with a team of skilled in-house developers who you will be working collaboratively with in order to meet Product Roadmap objectives, advocating as the voice of the customer whilst driving understanding and efficiency for delivery.

 

You will be an experienced and proactive Product Owner / Product Manager within a SaaS / CCaaS / UCaaS / Communications business with the ability to lead and engage with cross-functional teams. Experience with voice would be very advantageous.

 

Job Purpose

  • Accurately and efficiently executing the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and quarterly plans by leading the voice development team on behalf of the Voice Product Manager.
  • To work closely with the Product Manager ensuring the features/epics and wireframes are turned into user stories and then advocating as voice of the customer during sprints.
  • Drive the development team to deliver the required work through backlog prioritisation and management, leading refinement and identifying and eliminating blockers.
  • Report on performance against plans, communicating in a timely fashion when deliverables will not be met, and identifying the issues causing the delays and seeking resolution. 
  • Support and advocate the quarterly GTM of new features across the business, through demonstrations and knowledge transfer, to drive awareness, understanding and adoption.
