Technical Operations Manager
This role is suitable for a Technical Operations Manager/IT Operations Manager or similar with strong infrastructure experience in a SaaS/Telecoms business.

Hybrid role - 3 days per week office based in our Redditch offices (B98 9NR)
- Lead our dynamic Technical Operations Team, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
- Guide and mentor the team in the design, implementation and support of our server, network and database infrastructure hosted in Tier 1 data centres and Azure.
- Collaborate with leaders across Engineering, Product and Partner Operations to drive operational excellence, ensuring optimal performance and security across our technical infrastructure.
We are currently recruiting for a Technical Operations Manager to join our growing Communications business TelXL. We specialise in CCaaS (Contact Centre as a Service) creating and delivering Voice, Digital and Omnichannel solutions. We work in the Channel, partnering with MSPs, Resellers and VARs to deliver exceptional customer experience.
Your expertise will enhance our operational efficiencies, ensure the robustness and security of our infrastructure, and deliver exceptional experiences for both our partners and customers.
Though this role is not hands-on, you will need to be able to have relatable experience in networking/infrastructure management to effectively manage the technical operations team, provide informed guidance and reduce single point dependencies.
As a Technical Operations Manager, you will;

Lead the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the Technical Operations team

Play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiencies, cost optimisation and best practices to lower the cost to serve

Ensure our infrastructure remains robust, secure, and scalable mitigating inefficiencies and minimising customer impacting incidents

Be responsible for incident management and through collaboration with other stakeholders, identify root causes and resolutions

Oversee capacity management for infrastructure, systems and services

Actively contribute to improvements of the technical strategy and architecture.
You will be a solution-driven individual, who has substantial experience with managing and leading a technical operations team and a proven ability to drive improvements in infrastructure management.
